Come on. You completely gloss over the fact that Dems didn't even bother to pass a budget last year. Republicans are listening to the American people about the out of control debt, and want cuts to be made. They have made this very Clear to the Dems, but they are the ones who are politically posturing and making a fuss about cuts. So by all accounts, it's the Dems who would ultimately be responsible for the troops not getting paid.

The military is protected by the "Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act" which states that if a service member fails to pay a bill due to service related circumstances they are legally protected until that service related circumstance comes to an end. All military personell gets a letter in this reguard before deployment to show to who they please as a warning. Oh, and 3/4 of our military identifies as "conservative and vote as such.
