  • ohmygod.. this kid's gonna be big. i've been playing both cello and piano for pretty long and it's really hard to practice and get serious w/t both while going to school and all tht stuff. is he a cellist or pianist!? hah

  • He is a cellist.

  • He must be homed school..how do you have time to practice cello and piano...i play flute and cello and its some what hard to fit in practice.

  • He plays 2 hours of cello and ten to twenty minutes of piano (or none). He is homeschooled though, but does other things.

I think kids shouldn't be forced to practice at their instrument period. It will make them hate it, and will grow to hate you. If they like playing that's motivation enough.

  • Not all great pianists start out when they are 3y/o, some of the greatest pianist played very poorly well into their thirties. Especially the real geniuses. Mozart was not known for his accuracy and beautiful tone when playing instruments. Aldort is probably a genius, if you follow his eyes you'll see there is a distinct familial relationship he has with the keyboard. He's making real music, it isn't phoned in or emotionless... It's touching.

  • good try slowind down a bit but considering you play both cello and piano is very good

  • its very Fantastic

  • Actually he was "unschooled" along with both his brothers. All three are happy, well balanced and highly gifted. We have now idea how the current school system turns children with a love for learning, into burned out people who may never find their real talents or experience the joy of excelling in things because they love to do them.

  • great job on the song.. The thing that i dont get, is that why people say he is going to be huge.. I mean he is a great pianist.. But, anyone can play any song they want with enough practice.. I dont know how much he practiced, but some people get it in 2 hours, some take 2 years, and they each get the same credit...

  • @Aldort Somehow I highly doubt he plays only 10 minutes a day.

  • Does he naturally have big hands? At age 12 I had trouble doing octaves (even broken ones) (at such a tempo)

  • Its a common mistake but Fantasie Impromptu isnt realy all that difficult. In fact the impromptu is the perfect level for a 12 - 13 year old

  • love it...

  • Gorgeous.

  • but... i saw that amazing musician playing the cello!! i'm confused... a piano prodigy too?
