A lot of trees were down in Brossard, but did not see power outages or large hail.

Pierrefonds boulevard? :P
Anyway, I love extreme weather. It's been pretty cool the last few summers, we've had something interesting fairly consistently.

big words lol
How do you know this was really a "supercell"? Do you know what a supercell is? If this was a supercell you would see signs of a mesocyclone in the form of clouds with a rotating structure. Please be careful when you use this term.

Hi a73347,
I'm very well routed in the supercell phenomena, and there was a wall cloud suggesting a steady mesocyclone roughly 15 minutes following this video footage. In fact, there were severe thunderstorm and tornado watches in effect for parts of the West Island and especially the South shore. Furthermore, there were reports of baseball-sized hail and funnel clouds descending to about several hundred feet off the ground. There were no touchdowns, however.
Indeed, this was a supercell

i live on the south shore, we lost power for a day and a half cause a transformer blew up, branches broke off into peoples houses, windows were exploding and huge trees even got uprooted.. and fell into powerlines. was really freaky lol

Yeah, I heard you folks got it really bad. I saw some footage near or around your region, and really, that was some powerful rain and downbursts of wind.
Excellent storm, but I'm predicting a few more strong ones to develop from now until September, so be careful. The risk for severe weather is in place for most of the day tomorrow (the 14th of June).
Thanks for watching!

Storm looked ominous!

Thank you very much, and I'm glad you liked the video. Yes, it was truly ominous when it was entering the region, and that was well enforced when those rains and wind came down!
Golfball to baseball sized hail were reported in some areas as well.
