Ritchie Valens(Richard Steven Valenzuela)
May13,1941- February3,1959
The late great Ritchie Valens was a Rock n Roll pioneer and a forefather of the Chicano Rock movement. His career was to last just 8 short months, during which time he scored several hits, including his huge smash Donna/La Bamba. The song We Belong Together was released in 1959 reaching Nbr 92 in the US charts. This is my tribute to the great talent that was Ritchie Valens.
