@dwjp That is most likely just the ring of the bell being too loud for the microphone and causing that strange sound.

Love that Pashley; thanks very much for sharing. I collect vintage bikes and I have a 1913 Great Western that I am restoring that will look similar to yours (black frame, 28" wheels, creme tires, Brooks saddle) except mine has a toolbox tank. I also have a 1950s CCM with a similar frame and 28" wheels. I may add creme Schwalbe tires and a set of hammered Honjo fenders to that one.
