Truth be told, I hate most dubs that come out. But I'm not so naive as to believe that it's not the same bloody show. It's a matter of personal taste as to which people listen to.

If your referring to Amanda Winn Lee (Original English dub actress and the voice playing on this video) I haven't heard of anything of this. Same goes with the original Japanese seiyuu Megumi Hayashibara.
I'm still angry that Mrs. Lee wanted to reprise her role for Evangelion 1.0 Movie but it was given to a different actress!? A clearly stupid decision by FUNimation as usual.
