A seaside school. In the corridor stands the principal, beloved of the high-spirited youngsters. Gazing at a picture of a whale drawn as a child, the head teacher is swept away with sentiment into a flashback from the past. Just then, on the ocean horizon...

  • funeral rituals and tombs are not gonna help the whales avoid extinction now are they.

  • Stupid propaganda. Whale meat has been eaten for far longer in some Japanese coastal communities than the post-war era. This animation also forgets to mention that there are funeral rituals and tombs dedicated to whales in several places where whaling was/is conducted in Japan.

and about long killing time. on average it is much quicker that the value you gave, but surely not as fast as slaughtering livestock. but if that is the matter, we shall not kill any wild animals. AND do remember livestock is lifetime inactivity. their lives are only for human consumption, while wild animals enjoyed freedom till the moment.

I surely prefer being a whale killed in 20 mins rather than pig in a pen. that's why I prefer wild meat.

I do answer your question. it is not for survival, it's for taste.

Tell me, if a species is 2 times clever than a dog, we shall kill them? or 1.5 times? and how you measure it? do you think pigs or cows are not sentient? surely they may not as cleave as bottle-nose, but they may as good as dall's porpoise. then we can kill porpoise?

All life is special and equal, cetaceans or not. Even we human, but I do not eat human because I am human, that's all.

  • @AlAlslord - answered question with question, but ok. All life is special but Cetaceans extra so. They are sentient...aware of themself and their situation. Intelligence is roughly equivalent to ours, 2.5 times a dog. Awareness/intelligence amplifies suffering to something like having your toenails, eyelids and fingers pulled out until death while freaking out about your family members. Long 'kill time' (25 min plus). Overharvest leaves world with none. Oceans are dying. Keep an open mind, ok?

then do we need pigs, cows or chickens for survival?

come to think of it, we do not need tomato for survival, or we do not need potato, and rices should be left alone, and wheat can have their freedom, and people should respect cabbage more. those animals and vegetables are totally defenseless.

I eat whales because of taste. And I feel less guilty to eat them as they had a chance to live freely and killed after fighting, but cows or pigs do not have such a chance.

  • @juletroll ... the message I got from this video was that whale meat is no longer required for survival ... but that's not true?

  • Simple and pretty

  • lol again, i dont understand it but i still like this guys artstyle.

  • 鯨の資源を守ろう!そして、日本は捕鯨を続けよう!

(Caucasian doesn't eat the whale. It is good.)

  • Oh, so touching.

    I cried.

  • This one brings me to tears every time I see it. Thanks for posting it!
