I think it's safe to say by now that if you guys knew at least one thing about me, it would be that I like Dragon Ball Z. No secret by now, Dragon Ball (mostly just Z, I didn't care much for GT) is a huge part of my life now, and I don't plan on letting go. If I was trapped on a deserted island, and I was only allowed to bring one thing with me, it would be Dragon Ball Z. THERE'S NO RULE SAYING I CAN'T BRING IT WITH ME!
Insanity aside, I've been having a lot of fun lately, what with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, WarioWare Smooth Moves and even ROM hacks. However, sometimes you just want to go back to a simpler time and just take a look back on some of the things that shaped your mind into what it is today. For me it was looking back on my game wall and seeing "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3" on my shelf.
If any of you out there knew me back in high school, it was no secret that, besides Smash Bros. Melee, Budokai 3 was my absolute favorite fighting game of all time. And why should it not have been? There were a wide selection of characters to choose from, customizable with "capsule items" which allows you to teach them new attacks, special abilities or even reinforce them with armor, but also "Recoome."
Dragon Ball Z viewers, if you don't know who Recoome is, you don't deserve the cookies I've been giving away for free. Recoome is, easily, my favorite villain in the series, only because he is a mindless oaf who sounds like he's on medication for brain diseases that have yet to have been even discovered yet. Phrases like "I'll beat you in an instant!" "You do well, huh-huh, you do well!" and "Recoome is here!" are all spoken so hilariously, if your friends never have seen him before, they would immediately keel over laughing. I know I did, but he warmed up to me.
As always, the most important part of any multiplayer gaming experience is "Having another person to play with." In this case, the other player is "Ruler of Ice" Michael, or Mike as he goes by in his current years. When I told him I was willing to play again, he practically raced over to my place for a few matches. We recorded these matches, and out of all of the matches we played, this was the unanimous vote for "YouTube Worthy Match".
If you or anyone you know owns this game and they deem this match unworthy, that is your own personal opinion. Let me just remind you all that it has EASILY been a year and a half since the last time either Mike or myself have played this game, so we are far from what we were at back in our glory days. If anybody would like to see more matches, the usual way will suffice.
And yes, "Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit" is my next MUST OWN GAME.
Recoome is so retarded it's hilarious. He definitely sounds like he has a malignant brain tumor hampering thefull functionality of his brain... lol at his ki-charing pose.
