@mch101389 No she wasn't, cause 21 was a breakup album and this song is up beat which is the whole theme of her upcoming 3rd album. Adele said herself: "I have five tracks ready to go. One of them is quite upbeat - a real 'girl power' type of song. I plan to do a cover of the INXS hit 'Never Tear Us Apart' which is probably my fave song of all time. The whole album will have quite a live feel to it."

So there you go haters it's OFFICIAL! I personally can't wait to hear it, FTW!!!

I hope no one is foolish enough to do a cover of this song. Covers rarely work, unless the artist doing the cover puts his/her own vision of the song, few have ever worked better than the original. Jimmy Hendrix's cover of "All Along The Watchtower" has now become a classic and readily identifiable with him, instead of Bob Dylan. Someother of those few examples are Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" and Johnny Cash covering Nine Inch Nail's "Empire Of Dust"... The rest...mostly shit!
