@lilj69101 And your answer to the crown Vic is the "Mercury Maruder". It's waaayyy faster then the crown Vic. But still the same car as this impala SS. That's why they made 2 sporty versions of both cars cause they wanted a (faster) version. Any true gear head will tell u this is the fastest generation Impala.

@lilj69101 First off you didn't "bust my bubble". Your word is just an opinion to me. If this wasn't one of the fastest generation impala SS, which one then? I know guy who actually work @ the GM and Chevy Factory. And they even told me. That these were the fastest. They made this version of the impala to be a more sporty version of the Caprice. That's why they resembled each other. And why you get a Crown Vic Interceptor? They slow cause the police take out the engine parts that make it faster

@packman32792 they actually stopped making the LTX's and introduced LSX's also this gen of the B-bodys were not the fastest, hate to burst your bubble but the Crown vic interceptor is just as slow as a civilian model.

I know some people that sleep HARD on this version 95-96' Impala SS, these were truly the most powerful, and fastest ones they made. I remember in the 90s they had to stop making that motor cause cops then couldn't catch Em.

@bergaflickal well people like what they like,if they paid there own money for the car they have the right to do what they please,i used to hate to see people with big rims on cars but not everybody buy cars for speed,some poeple like cars for the look.
