@charmfran I think if he'd gone into the car park I'd have followed him to have words...

i see that shit most days on thai island! ppl think theres loads of time to get into morrisons from that exit when in reality most cars weigh a tonne and take forever to make it! fair play for keeping yr cool mate.. ive booted wing mirrors off for that shit!

@jackojeff LOL Did you ask him to take his glasses off so you could punch him better?

Perth , WA- Crossing roundabout from standstill. Checked right, clear, lifesaver, clear. Watched the cars on my left while accelerating, bike now leaning with radius of bend at speed. Still watching cars on left out of the corner of my eye. Holden Cruz (vauxhall something) pulls out for classic t-bone. Right out, like, big white wall with windows in the side and a stupid , oblivious driver. Emergency stop- sideways. Pants- heavily shat. Brakes- fucking excellent.

@kerrzo1971 I had similar not long before I started using cameras. Some stupid bint in a BMW pulled straight onto the island without even stopping - I dropped the bike right over and ended up hitting her side at an angle and somehow managing to stay on! There was a huuge gash in her door, and my front forks weren't feeling too clever after it. It was a good job she took a while to stop, because I would have beaten the shit out of her - I was absolutely blind with rage!

So, what multiple of the speed limit were you doing on the roundabout? It's all well and good saying you have right of way, but that only counts if you are travelling at a speed where people can see you coming and react to you.
And the carpark? What would have happened if they yellow car had reversed out at 0:51, they wouldn't have seen you coming.
Can I ask what your indicators were doing at 0:16, when she would have been assessing your intentions? at 0:19, you look like you're going round

@jhferu Multiple? I was doing less than 30mph on what is technically a 60mph limit roundabout (as it joins the dual carriageway). If the car in the car park shot out fast enough to give me a problem the blame would be on them completely - it's a car park after all!
Looking back I would have indicated just as I throttled off - so that would have been almost dead on that 0:16, or as soon as I was 'past the point of no return' of the last junction.

@nastyevilninja Sorry about that, on first viewing of the video it looked like you were going faster than you were on the roundabout.
The reason I asked about your indicators (I should've fully read the post) is that it looks a lot like you are continuing around the roundabout, until the last moment (around 0:20) you seem to be in the right-hand "lane" (not that there seem to be any markings). I can see how the (albeit dozy) driver of the blue car might have thought you were continuing round.

@jhferu I see what you're getting at, but the reason I stay a little more to the right there is so I'm more visible. That dual carriageway joins the roundabout at an angle, so without doing a full 'life saver' over the shoulder check (which barely any car drivers do), you can't see anything there. Even the feeder road from the junction before is in the right hand lane - so the road planners seem to have almost got something right for once!
