Its a shame what this mother is putting her husband and children through due to her insubordination. So many wives drive men to have no alternative but to kick the shit out of them just to keep the peace. She should be in jail!! Poor kids, poor husband. Hope he didnt hurt his fist on that worthless bitch.

@shelley8200 I'm with you Shelly ... i don't have the answers but i'm bloody ready to help, please keep me posted, cheers.

this poor poor child, no baby should have to see or hear such horrors, this would have scared this child forever...do anyone know if the mother and children got to safety.
Also i think we need to relise how much seeing and hearing events like this effects the profesionals, yes it's there jobs but the police, operator, nurses and doctors all have a heart as well, no wounder so many are left effected in the long run.

@mindnumber9 I wish i had the answer to that question ... i really don't think the majority of "trash" have the brain capacity to go to grace ... i really don't. Deep down i know jail is not the answer, but jail at least (for a long time) will protect another child from going through this. I don't know how we could stop perps from perpetrating prior to their heinous crimes. What do you propose?

I am now, possibly for the first time in the last two years, able mentally and physically to get my hands dirty and start helping find a solution. Where to start? I'm not sure.

I think that this video has raised at least my awareness to the harms that DV have on children. It's a CYCLE. The statistics for children raised in homes with DV and the chances that they will be offenders themselves are incredibly high. A different approach should perhaps be taken, but who can identify the "correct" way of doing this? I'm not sure. My sister was murdered by her husband just over 2 years ago and it has had resounding effects on my family, including the death of my father.

@leannewags Many people (myself included) have "let loose" on youtube (yahoo news comment section is another hot spot for verbal abuse). There's no doubt that harm & violence makes us sick: scared, hurt, outraged, horrified, shocked, overwhelmed, etc.
We need Positive Light ... we need to see Progress, Success of Health post-harm. What does that look like? If people had the examples to follow, they might believe that change is possible. How does one go from "trash" to Grace?

@mindnumber9 For the record, in real life i am a child rights & womans advocate, I foster & do whatever I can to help a child (or woman) in need (helped jail a ped dentist into S&M).I have a loving partner & beautiful boy to help me with these children.I don't feel my comments constitue DV but i have learnt that perhaps restraint is a higher road to take.I just get sooooo angry reading some of the pro abuase of children comments & feel i can let loose on a platfrom like youtube.Prob won't help..

i just got hurt by watching this. understand?
when will you advocates and workers CHANGE your track? you need to raise awareness NOT of the problem, but OF THE SOLUTIONS. and the victories. don't you understand?

@mindnumber9 Thank you for such an honest comment. I understand, it impacts me the same.
But the challenge is this.
When you ask 9 out of 10 people what comes to mind when they think of Domestic Violence, they say ‘the adults’
Very few ever think about the impact on the children. And unless we raise the awareness of this issue, this can never end - and we believe is at the heart of creating significant change.
