help me out here please iam new to nc and to saltwater fishing i just want to know three things is the carolina beach in wilmington and can you fish from the bank or shore without a boat and if thats a yes are there parts where you can fish or anywhere in the beach and when i go there iam only going for a day where am i supposed to park and is there and office to buy bait and pay for me fishing thank u very much srry for taking ur time god bless u

South of Wilmington Carolina is beach is only one. You can buy a license for one day. Most of the beach there is OK for you to fish. You can also fish from the pier a little south of Carolina beach. There is plenty of parking and just a short walk to the beach. This is lots of fun. Bait can be bought in number of places along the Carolina beach. You can try fresh bait, but the little fish just have a field day. I finally went to artificial bait. Good Luck, its a beautiful beach.

I'm sure a shark can be caught but I never caught one. There were some white fish, mullet, sea bass and many others.

Yes I caught a mullet and I have to tell you it was the best fish we have ever eaten. There is nothing like fresh fish.
