Clip used at The Gathering (http://www.thegatheringnow.com) during week 1 of our UNDENIABLE series. Being there and seeing this man prayed for without being healed made me think of the difference between what we see today and what the church experienced in Acts, and caused me to be even more resolved to see Him move undeniably where we live today.

  • When you pray for something, even healing, you get one of 3 answers.

    1) Yes.

    2) no.

    3) Wait.

And one more thing. This proves that they were not bringing people into the conference in wheelchairs to fake the healings.

  • Yet in scripture the focus was 99% on those who did receive a miracle and only a brief mention of those who the Word says had too little faith to heal or be healed.

  • I love to see God's children step out and take the baby steps of learning to pray for the sick and crippled. It's what we are called to according to Jesus. Nothing strange that Jesus early disciples "couldn't heal" everyone according to scripture yet many did receive their immediate manifestation of healing. Even Jesus himself couldn't heal hardly anyone in his own hometown because the people having hands laid on them had such small faith according to the word. It's not so different now.

  • I was there as well, and I think one of the main reasons we didn't see this man's healing was because we got anxious and tried to force it. I don't know how long you stayed, but a man came and prophecied that God was going to heal the man without any hands touching him because we had "too much flesh" for God to move. Everyone agreed and waited about one minute before laying hands on him again. I think our zeal overrode our faith....it was very disappointing
