Beg to differ that so called primitive cultures are brutal towards their children. @Sivels Also, you may say that science has proved humans are selfish by nature because of survival of the fittest. HA!! Not at all, science has only proved that animals are selfish. Why? Duh, since they are not yet self-conscious!! Their job is to separate themselves from the collective unconscious first, by developing an ego. Our job is to reintegrate back into the collective unconscious, while keeping the ego. Survival of the fittest does not apply to humans, only survival of the Ego.
