The Afrotherapy story began in May 2001 when we launched Harriet Kessie Hairdressing with a desire, passion and drive to challenge the stereotypes around Afro hairdressing and to establish a sustainable and credible brand.

10 years later, having re-branded the business to Afrotherapy in 2009, and with the same drive and ambition, the Company is now recognised as one of the best in the industry winning numerous awards and making a positive difference in the lives of people and in the community in which we work.
