A song I wrote.

I remember the way you smelt
it was warm and it was sweet was safe
I try not to think about it much though
but its hard not too when I'm stuck in this place

I remember the day you left
You called me on the phone
I went out driving with my friends for no reason
I just didn't want to be alone.

I remember the day I found about him
I collapsed on the floor
I punched a tree and sat on a park bench for hours
I didn't want to be anything anymore

I remember when we saw that twilight movie
and we made fun of the dad's mustache
When I want to think about things that make me happy
I like to think about that

some nights I pretend to talk to you
while lay sleepless in my bed now thats probably not helpful for me
but i can't get you out of my head

most times when I think about you
it really hurts inside
The first time I tried to write this song
I broke downl and cried

do you remember those nights up in wisconsin
we were both just little kids
you looked at me and said we'd never grow up
I don't think I have but you kind of did

I really liked this video and song, because sometimes I feel like the people I watch on youtube have it all figured out and are impervious to hurt and loss. I guess I admire them so much that I blow them up bigger then life and seem to forget that they are human beings. So I loved this video, because it made me feel a little less lost and alone and that the people who I watch are actually people with real lives and memories and loves and losses too. Thanks Miten. By the way song = brilliance.
