Hi guys.
So, first of all...WHO WAS SURPRISED WHEN THE FIRST AUDIO THEY HEARD WAS A LITTLE AMERICAN GIRL SPEAKING JAPANESE? LOLOL -SLAPPED- Before anyone asks, yes, that is ACTUALLY me. Surprise surprise, I'm not just some "common white weaboo" (as I've been called), I can actually speak the language decently!
But anyways. 8D;
As mentioned in the video, I'm...maybe a tad late in getting this up. But it's not like this is being posted after all the damage and everything has been fixed, not at all. If you check the American Red Cross website, they're STILL taking donations for Japan, because THEY NEED IT. The damage over there, particularly up north in the Miyagi Prefecture, is almost impossible to fathom. Plus, further south, all the horrible things with the Fukushima nuclear plant meltdowns...absolutely tragic. All of my reasoning should be explained in the video, but basically, I have a fair amount of viewers in Japan, and more importantly, FRIENDS over there, hence the first minute and a half or so being IN Japanese, with English translations for you guys :) I had no help writing any of this, so I'm sure it's not perfect, but yes, I did this all by myself. I had meant to make one of these earlier, but this whole thing happened at an extremely busy point in my life, so I had no time :( However, I was on someone's channel and I saw a "message to Japan" thing, and I was just...hit with inspiration, I suppose. The main point I had wanted to make was that people MUST keep going and living on, even it's terribly difficult. Only then can they rebuild.
Alright, enough rambling. Please enjoy the video :)

@Hunterchuck LOL Most people don't know, it's all good XD And well, I studied for it for about a year by myself (while I still took French in school), then I started taking Japanese classes in high school, so now I've got about 4-4.5 years total of it under my belt. I've definitely got a penchant (and a knack) for languages, plus starting in fandubbing before knowing the actual language definitely helped. After that, it just kinda came to me :)
