He is in the suzuki program, ..
he started just before he turned 3 years old..
prior to that he used to pretend his toys were violins...
He was 4 this last October...and this clip is from Thanksgiving day this year

Because the Suzuki method stresses playing by ear rather than playing using notation, and obviously Finnian can play by ear really well!

Wow. I am very impressed! That's awesome. I'm a music education major, and I'm going to show this video in one of my classes tomorrow. I'm giving a presentation on the Suzuki method (I'm assuming Finnian is in a Suzuki program) and this video is going to rock everybody's socks off!

WOW Finnian has got to hang out with ALL of our grandkids, Oni, Jacklyn, Mo, Krish & Serena. I just showed it to Arlo. With all you musical mothers around it's no wonder this child can play like this!
