Before Johnny Horton's rockabilly cover version, there was Moon's original.

  • Do you know who that is introducing Moon? I'm usually pretty good at recognizing the folks in these clips.

Trivia: In those Ernest Tubb records, he always called Owen Bradley "Half Moon Bradley" because he wanted Owen to play like Moon Mullican, but Owen was only half as good as Moon.

  • @TiredOfTheSoupDuJour The MC is none other than George Morgan... he's slightly cross-eyed.

  • The guy in the red and black "Brawny" shirt seems a tad bored by the whole thing. Get with it Daddy-o!

  • WOW!! This guy is GOOD!! Love that Boogie Woogie.

  • The original "Pumpin' Piano" when Jerry Lee was just learning to play. We owe a lot to these first pioneers who blazed the trail for the 50's rockers.

  • Wow, never heard of him. Thank you for sharing. : )

  • I thought for a minute he was going to break out in "Great Balls of Fire."

  • I love Moon! :)
