Captive orcas are a sad caricature, a weary and spiritless version of
their wild counterparts. Visitors cannot help but leave with a distorted perception of
orcas and their environment. Most disturbingly, they may leave with the notion that it is
acceptable to confine orcas and other animals, solely to meet human demands for
entertainment and 'education' "Dying to Entertain You" Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.
