The Diva was named after the CROAT name for a hotel complex in Istria, Croatia (Plava Laguna), which was confirmed by Besson himself. So it can't be Bosnian or Serbian! Especially since in Bosnia there are three official languages and saying that there's only one is utterly ignorant towards the other two ethnic groups, who happen to be minorities. Try to say that in Switzerland there's only one language, and just wait for the (raging violent) reaction, if you dare!

So I guess the fact that Mila Jovovic acting in Return to the Blue Lagoon had nothing to do with it, and her being Besson's wife at the time? :)
