Demo: Adobe's Flex and AIR Part-2

Adobe's AIR and Flex applications help in creating rich Internet applications. In part-2 of this demo Raghunath Rao from Adobe's Bangalore office provides an excellent overview of AIR and Flex and also shares tips on how to become a certified Flex programmer. Raghu also shares tips on where to look for information on Flex and AIR.

In the demo section Raghu walks us through Anthropologie, a US-based clothing company's rich internet applications and points out the various options and ways in which a user can search Anthropologie's catalog.

I've been a web developer for years, and I'm just now looking into Flex. All I can say is WOW! It's amazing. Anyone else considering it should download Adobe's 30 day trial and play with it.

I especially recommend it to my fellow Computer Science graduates who come from languages like C++ and Java. I gave up on Flash years ago, but Flex makes incredible effects very, very simple to implement.
