The new TX61 camera system is the first true plug and play and modular system for FPV, that is both extremely light at 31gr even with its 550 line definition, and also allows adding a wide range of accessories like microphone, dual frequency transmission, OSD, multiple switchable cameras and more, all with a simple plug system... forget about soldering!

Also introducing the Eagletree OSD and cockpit display systems in the product line, in easy packs that remove the hassle of figuring out what modules you need to get the setup you want!

  • CUANTO SALE EL CONJUNTO ENTERO CON EL OSD ¿¿¿¿ Y EN QUE MONEDA ES DOLARES ¿¿¿¿¿

  • Spy on your neighbour XD

  • @twistedyogert Kilometers per hour in this case :) The OSD can be set at least to MPH, not sure if it has a kt option too.

  • @kilrahvp Is the air speed in miles per hour or knots?

  • @0ssie4u fpv flying makes you truly feel alive. It's no wonder some countries are making it illegal.

  • Cool video! It brings a new way of flying with rc planes :-D

  • @kilrahvp ok thanks

  • now that's is cool nice flight

  • @LTF85199 The problem is that with a cellphone you have an unpredictable link delay. The image can arrive to the ground 100 milliseconds later, but also several seconds later depending on network coverage and usage, etc. So unless the aircraft has an autopilot and can fly by itself without user input this won't work. To fly FPV and maintain control you need to have less than about 50 ms round-trip delay from image capture to the time an action on your part moves the controls of the aircraft.

  • @kilrahvp wow this FPV thing is becoming more and more like the real thing, thanks for that response I think I will be buying this eagle tree package too. it would have been really cool if all this video, data and control signals were transmitted through cell phone technology then there will be no need for a ground station. wait a minute, why can't you do FPV with 2 live streaming cell phones?, you will get far better reception and less expensive too.. what do you think?

  • @LTF85199 There are both possibilities. In this video the GPS is used for distance, heading, direction calculations, and a pitot-static system is used for airspeed and altitude. If you don't want the pitot system the values can be taken from the GPS, but the altitude is less precise and the speed becomes a ground speed.

You can also choose to display both the air and gronud speeds if you have both GPS and pitot, it's really very flexible and every item can be configured how you want.

  • How accurate are those data displayed on the screen do you know? are they based on GPS calculation or some other method like a pitot tube?

  • and from Russia! =)

  • @diasyuri The video transmitter is integrated with the camera on the TX61 set, and the RX is supplied. Have a look on the website for more info. No experience with BEV.

  • Thanks for your feedback. Just one more thing, what video TX/RX are you using ? Do you have any experience with BEV or hobby wireless equipments? what would you recommend ?

  • @diasyuri Yes, you'll need 8 channels if you want everything. Note however that pan/tilt and expecially OSD are not needed for FPV. They're fun additions, but not necessary.

And you mention a heli, I would defintiely not recommend going FPV with a heli before having good experience on airplanes first.

  • My dear friend, as many of the audience here I´m just one more heli enthusiastic. I´ve been flying for about 10 months and really interested in a FPV experience, but as far as I know the pan/tilt camera mount usually needs 2 channels (even with a ppm mixer, the receiver must have 2 slots, right ?) and the GPS system another 2.

So my guess is that I need at least a 8 channel radio, am I right ?

By the way, really nice footage.

  • ohhh .. so nice ! greetings from Brazil :D

  • I want to be able to hook this up to my computer monitor and play flight simulator LOL how far does the radio frequency go?

  • 1:35 so schön! geil goooooood!!

  • Bravo!
