Two models in 15mm (1/20th) scale of Irish narrow gauge articulated railcars.
The first is West Clare 3389 built in 1951 and capable of 40mph. The second is Clogher Valley No1 from 1932 ( later Donegal No10)

  • Sound systems or was that the natural sound?

  • Thats just the sound of the (not very well meshed) gears.

My friend has a similar model fitted with a top of the range synchronised diesel sound unit and horn - absolutely amazing. I'll try and get some clips sometime mow the weather is better.

  • They sure bobble along!! lol.

  • I thought the green one was a bit too fast - but its not too bad for 40mph - the steam trains should be a lot slower.
