The men in the video claim responsibility for explosions in four Western Chinese cities in recent months. Among them, two bus bombings that killed two and injured 14 people last week. The men belong to an offshoot of an other organization that has ties to al-Qaida.(NATS IN MANDARIN)A foreign ministry spokesman says he doesn't think the bus bombings have a direct link to Olympic security. But he says they are a reminder to tighten security measures in important places in Beijing during the games.There are concerns the clampdown has also smothered groups with no history of violence. Officials deny they are rounding up peaceful critics.(NATS IN MANDARIN)They say they hope the international community can understand concerns and cooperate on the issue of fighting against terrorism.110-thousand police and special forces will join 300-thousand volunteers in protecting China's capital during the Olympics.The C-E-O of Bejing International Airport calls combating terrorism a top priority ahead of the games.(NATS IN MANDARIN)He says explosives have been an extremely important focus. ___ ___, The Associated Press.
