We spend an amazing week in Uganda. Organised by Wigwam travel agency. This video has been taken with my Iphone. You cannot go closer than 7m to the gorillas, but this guy came at 10cm close to me.
The 500 USD you pay for your right to do a gorilla trekking are refunded for 25% to the region of Bwindi and the rest is used to protect the 15 families of Gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable forest, out of which 8 are habituated to human and 2 to researchers.
The good news if you think you will not be physically fit enough: the rangers call the 991 for you whenever you cannot go on any more and you will be carried through the forest for only 350 USD. So: take your unique chance to see those incredible human similar friends!
