Kirby's Adventure "Vegetable Valley" on Mario Paint Composer

10th Mario Paint vid, 1st contest.

I made this for Levus28's contest, which has a few different rules. Mainly, you have to keep all tempos under 1000 and you have to use the original soundfont or SatoshiLyish's Mario Paint Plus (but not Plus E). Levus chose Vegetable Valley, which I wasn't very familiar with. But I did manage to learn the song fairly quickly.

A little background on Vegetable Valley: This song plays on stages 1 and 3 of Level 1 (called Vegetable Valley) in the NES game Kirby's Adventure. Stages 2 and 4, as well as the boss battle, have different themes. Kirby's Adventure was later remade into the GBA game Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, which had remixed music (including Vegetable Valley) and enhanced backgrounds. However, if you ABSOLUTELY MUST play the game with the original score, you can download the NES version off of Wii Virtual Console for 500 points.

As for the song itself, I'm very impressed with how it turned out. The transitions are almost spot-on, which is kinda rare (e.g. my Moo Moo Meadows video). It took about 2-3 hours over two days. For my instrument choice, I went with cars for the melody, planes and hearts for the bass, and Marios and stars for the other notes. I chose 700 for the tempo, which turned into 600 once lag rolled in. For this reason, I am reuploading a higher quality video, but I cannot do it before the deadline.

Small Update: I guess you could call this song a "remix" if you really wanted to, as I focused more on quality than accuracy. Also, I will not be entering SatoshiLyish's contest for Round 3.

This is really good. I think you need to fix some of the chords. I don't know what it is but they sometimes sound wrong like at around 1:20.
