As the title says. Squatting 135kg x10. Fifth back squat session of this year, since tearing my adductor in December.

  • How could your training affect anyone else?

  • Need to gain 40 lbs for what? To make you look even weaker?

  • Perhaps you would be if ridicule could build muscle. From our respective channel Avatars it's plain to see you would need to gain 40 lbs, but what difference would it make if you were stronger anyway?

  • I'm already stronger than you so who cares?

  • That's how I train, many employ partial squats; attempting to show off your training knowledge by ridiculing won't put any muscle on you.

  • Results like high-squatting 475 to show off on the Internet?

  • Powerman I commend you on sharing your training but not on throwing insults; neither that nor being ungratious with advice will improve your results. Results tend to speak for themselves.

  • * Suggesting your squats are 1/2 to parallel is lulz^infinity. Those are 1/8 squats, top, and even that's generous.

    * A very slight change in torso angle coming out of the hole does not constitute a good morning. See: any good close stance squatter ever lifting something actually heavy and deep (a concept with which you are no doubt unfamiliar).

    * Are you SERIOUSLY trying to dole out advice on squats given the abomination you posted? Srsly? 8\

  • lol @ you going to parallel

turns out I don't take advice from high-squatting jerks?

  • Hi PowerMan; you're incorporating a good morning exercise into the squat and offloading to the lower back. Try just going to parallel but in a straight line and you'll feel the difference. I took a look at your squats after reading your comments on mine; 475x30 1/2 to parallel in a straight line with continuous tension (non-lockout) is a fairly advanced training exercise, particularly when done with a close stance - just my opinion but I think you'll never get that strong squatting like this.
