From the album "Steve Goodman - Jessie's Jig and Other Favorites" we hear a tune credited to Charles "Cow Cow" Davenport. In addition to music there was a time when momma didn't allow the other activity portrayed here. This song features Steve Goodman on vocal; Hugh McDonald on electric bass; Jethro Burns on mandolin; Carl Martin on mandolin & vocals; Ted Bogan on accoustic guitar; Howard Armstrong on fiddle; Jeff Cutcheon, piano & Sheldon Ira Plotkin on drums. The next time the urge for a taste hits you why not raise a glass to Steve? His was a short life well lived.
Glad we straightened that out lol. Thanks so much for posting!!

Golly! Where are your ears? You FORGOT that Steve is playing guitar!! and WHAT guitar! Too much o that stuff you aint supposed to be drinkin and your mind is the second thing to go! But thanks for the video. Try writing it down on a notepad BEFORE you transcribe it to YouTube. You think I'm overstating? This aint no small error. on your part; It's major when you act like you don't even know Steve Godman. Ted Bogan didn't do all that fancy figuring on guitar, boy!

@nakedhombre Thank you so much for visiting my site and for your comment. I stand chastised for my failure to acknowledge Steve's flat-pickin". He was , of course, one of the best there ever was.The next rounds on me.
