There is no priest among us, like this one.

We often tend to think that the Church is being ruled by a Priest, Pastor, Pope, Minister, Bishop, Monsignior, Elder, or General. Call them what we like but if that is true we are lost. The only Church that God has instituted, is the one body of Christ of whom He is the Head.
We must not assume from my statement that there is no room for leadership in the Church. The "Body of Christ" is a "Priesthood of all Believers" but Jesus himself has instituted a structure of leadership.
Eph 4:11 It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, (12) to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

We are answerable to each other and we are "under authority" but apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are roles that are carried out under God and with other leaders. They are not status, they are job descriptions and responsibilities.
Jesus is Lord, not only of all creation in general but of the church in particular. He is our Priest.
The letter to the Hebrews is full of reference to Jesus' priesthood. In many instances it refers to Him as High Priest, a Great Priest or a Priest after the Order of Melchizedek. (Melchizedek was unique so a "Priest after the Order of Melchizedek" will be equally unique. As High Priest He delegates authority to His saints (true Christians). For He has called the church to be a kingdom of priests.
Rev 5: 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Here we do not find a two tier Christianity with priests and laity but a "priesthood of all believers" serving under our great High Priest, the risen, ascended and reigning Christ.

Narrated by YouTube's "NightVerse". Thank you Frank, well done.

  • good message

  • @resurrectionway Yes thank you! The message here is clear and precise according to scripture. God's grace is upon those who place their trust in the Christ and from that time, are saved eternally. Eternal means eternal and for this we have the joy of the Lord given by the Holy Spirit Himself. Praise be to God.

  • let me ask you a question...have you ever personally ever met this "god" in person? i think not. this is why i cannot believe in religion because it has no phyical proof. if i said there once was a pink dragon that lived in ice mountains of antartica. you can believe it or not. will i ever have phyical proof? no, it can be just a made up story i wanted people to believe in for all u and i know. thats my point about religion. it can just be made up story by some caveman and we'd never even know

  • @Sarge839 If your asking me then let me say this Sarge: No one could have made up the greatest story known to man. Man is not capable.

Plus, the Message of Christ is proven to be true. Thanks for your comment and visit

  • Ps 51 Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me. We need to be sanctified and perfected in the true gospel of Christ as we try diligently to forsake our sins...and we need to remember that It was not easy for Christ to take upon himself the sins of the world. Jesus Christ "came into the world...to be crucified for the world, and to bear the sins of the world, and to sanctify the world, and to cleanse it from all unrighteousness; that through him all might be saved" Rom 1:16

  • @Sarge839 I think you're making things a little too easy for yourself as an atheist by demanding physical evidence of a non-physical God.

  • if man is not capable, somebodey had to write the bible in English.

  • Love you Brother Patrick nice video-
