U think Metallica cover of "Remember tomorrow" suck? i can't say it's better than original, but it's just nice, show me the band who could do better cover of this?? None. It's rly great cover in my opinion, and it sound really awesome. (Metallica version is more heavy and i like this, Maiden's slightly soft...but it's my opinio.)

@TIL1896 I love both of these bands but I find Metallica dissapointing me a lot more than Maiden. They seem to be making music entirely for themselves like you just said but that can actually be bad to..They're alienating they're fans to much, with St Anger and then randomly doing an Avant Garde album after an album such as Death Magnetic which I liked. They're not evolving in a natural pace like Maiden.

Go listen to Iron Maiden's Debut album, Number of the Beast, Seventh son of a seventh son, X Factor and The Final Frontier, they're extremely different from each other and dont sound the same at all. And your point about making things that the fans like is utter crap.. look up a review of The Final Frontier or any thread about The Final Frontier, many fans dont like the "proggy" direction their heading.

what metallica music is commercial? The difference between maiden and metallica is maiden is making music for it's fans(hardly any change in sound)and Metallica is making music for themselves(a lot of change in sound) What's commercialism? Making things your fans like is more commercial to me than making music you like yourself. Load and Reload at the time were no commercial albums at all. They represent a phase the band was in that time. Maiden albums all sound the same
