But now, taking Searle's meaning of "strong AI" literally we could just say that AI implies "strong AI" to make everybody happy and to enlighten Searle.
-
Avoid "strong AI" and avoide Searle ! lol
-
This argument is wrong. You could just as easily apply it to another human being as you could a computer program capable of general intelligence.
-
you look like Jesus and the guy from Supertramp from the old days

wowowowowow... that is one AWESOME beard, dude I couldn't even listen to you because I was starting at your badass beard! :-O

I actually think and have a mind... sometimes I doubt humans do though ^_^ I'm not a machine per se but I am artificially created.
-
why are you saying "enjoy" at the end of your movies?

You're obviously an INTP and you care about semantics and trivial technicalities. I don't care about John Searle and what he meant. I hate petty semantic arguments. They're a waste of time. Strong AI is just a commonly accepted term that many people use to refer to true intelligence in software. What else can we call it? You didn't offer any alternative! I'll call it Strong AI and I don't care if you don't like it. I care about creating strong AI, not semantics or philosophies.
