Sometimes I wonder if an unintended consequence of programs like TFA and school leaders like Paul Valis will be an increasingly removed, remote, bourgeoisie and elite class of teachers who lack knowledge of or ties to the communities they serve. I've seen too few instances when TFA teachers and leaders are able to connect with legacy teachers and administration to help EVERYONE step their game up.
