Bear Truth 2 broken by Dicks Sporting Goods

I bought my Bear Truth 2 on 9/12/2009 and had it set up 9/17/2009 at my closest Bear Dealer, Dicks Sporting Goods. They did not have the correct bow press and bent the limbs and string dampeners. I did not know at the time that there were certain bow presses for the bear bows. Make sure that when you have work done on you Bear bow that they have the correct press listed in the manual.

The Game Over was not the nicest Bear product at the time, It was the Truth 2. Not that it matters anyway, Bear is a Walmart brand archery product and will never own one again. I have a Mathews Monster and a Mathews Z7 Xtreme. Good luck shooting your game over you might have better luck chucking a spear.

Lot of weird comments here. So they screwed your bow, but they're fixing it right? Maybe you could get them to give you a gift certificate or something. I know a real good guy that sells bows in Terre Haute, probably give you a way better deal than you can get at any big box store. I am asuming you're in Indiana.

@bubbacrabb They had to have one shipped from a store in Virginia that I got a week before the season opened last year. I went a bought a Mathews Monster from Lonesome Elk in Terre Haute, Tom is willing to give you a good deal, he is also the best bow tech I have ever met.

i have two bear bows but the only thing different with mine is that they were made in the 70-80s and they were made for men to shoot couse it was really like pulling back how many pounds they were. now allot of pussies are out there shooting all those boy-tech bows and think they are as bad ass as it gets. (not saying bow-tech isn't a bad brant)

Well Bear makes very well built bows. I shoot Hoyt which are the best Bows made. I will say Bear is better then Mathews. The new Bear Compounds From the year of Truth 2, up today with the Carnage. Hey Mathews Bear caught you, and is passing you in turn 2. Hoyt and Bowtech blew by you a long time ago. I guess Mathews can stay in the back with PSE. GET SERIOUS GET HOYT

I think every split limb bow should have a slip yoke cable bear does not do it Hoyt does.I strung my Mathews Switchback with slip yoke cable and strings and cable made with Xcell bow string smooth love it.Done my sons bow Fred Bear Vapor 300 changed it to slip yoke makes big difference first ever to do it on a Mathews bow:::::Jus'Hunt'N archery custom bow strings Jonesboro Ar.
