..All the best on your hunting excursions and you should come to New Zealand for a hunt ...one tip tho you better be fairly fit lots of hill and mountain climbing gullies and ridges ...a day hunting in NZ and you are knacked and you know that you have hunted!!!
-
Remember their eyes and ears are the lesser of their senses until they make the confirmation through their noses then they out of there! ..In New Zealand not everywhere that is hunted, is in bush ..we stalk in the open tussocks and open bush! ..Stealth is the key and that only comes with practice ..can't expect to walk like a ninja when you have city legs!!

Ok fair call ..so what you are saying is your not up to the challenge of trying to stalk at least one on the ground! ..With all the scent killer products and camo they got these days your chances are much better than back in the days when indians where stalking them and I'm positive they didn't have tree stands back then. Would one kill on a stalk hunt be more rewarding than 20 sit on your butt tree stand (and I won't call it hunting) because you are waiting for them to come to you.

@Hoytdownsouth its not about holding your bow back all day! i wish i could hold my bow back all day! they make it easier to hold back for hunters that have back problems or for younger hunters that can hold a bow back very long! plus its still archery the shooter is the one that makes it easier for them to make a easy shot, if u practice alot.

I'm a kiwi boy from New Zealand (Aotearoa - Land of the long white cloud) nice shooting but where is the real hunting not sitting on your arse or standing in a tree kinda hunting I'm referring to stalk hunting like we do in good ole little NZ. That hunting is a joke and ain't hunting, pure lazy if you ask me!! ..Most of you Canadians and Americans should come to NZ for a hunt and we will show you hunting how is meant to be done KIWI STYLE ...KIA KAHA

like to see you come over and try stalking a whitetail - eyes, smell and hearing the best not to mention not tons of brush like there in the outback. not saying it is impossible, but VERY VERY difficult. in those woods in this video, you would be busted as soon as you moved. Out west spot and stalk is a good way to hunt, but not for these whitetails.

man up! its illegal to hunt in alabama with a bow that has more than 80% let off.
As for the tissue and tears comment you made, if its that critical, join the rest of the crossbow crowd and don't try to reap the glory from the challenge of a bow when you can easily "hold it all day"

thanks for the Alabama info and I just read that it is 90% not 80%. I know of 2 other states (western) that don't allow over 80%. I hunted Colorado this year and had to reduce my 2 bows to 80% let off. Concept bows can easily be set at 80% or 99% let off just by rotating the bottom axle.
still a bow - i can't just hand it to you to shoot 60 yards like a scoped crossbow. you must practice with it to become good.
