Conservadem Evan Bahy's wife owned 1 million in employee stock in the largest insurer Wellpoint. Bahy recused himself from the debate by resigning his seat in the senate but only after he killed public option. Wellpoint's stock took off. Of course Bahy was just being "fiscally conservative" anti socialist medicine, a true patriot & bla bla bla. The conflict of interest was so glaring he freaking had to resign. Senator Joe Lieberman? His state is loaded with insurers.Max Baucus? bought & sold.

I haven't watched this video for over a month and it only has 1,300 views.
Hard to believe.
People don't realize how our current system enslaves them to the money changers. All great nations fall they always have.

It won't be easy, _CosmosPrivateer_, because they've had the bit in their teeth since the '80s when Reagan started dismantling the New Deal in earnest. "Industry" won't take re-regulation lying down. They'll bribe more politicians, and maybe hire assassins to get rid of their opponents if it comes to that. We need to be prepared for anything the bastards decide to throw at us, and be ready to block their offensive/defensive ploys.

I hope this eliminates the private insurance company's altogether.
Next we are coming after the hazard insurance agencies then the banksters.
We entrust the worlds most powerful military to OUR government and are afraid of this.
I say we need to get our government in check and all this will fall into place and save you and me thousands of dollars in our life time.

The Single Payer Plan is the first thing that Potter mentions in another interview: Democracy Now!
The YouTube title is: DN! Whistleblower (1\5) Wendell Potter Speaks Out Against Health Care Industry.
This was excellent ... a real eye opener. I haven't been so passionate about an issue in a long time. Congress better get this done!

The principles of capital investment for profit and the provision of health care for citizens are 2 completely incompatible concepts.
Every developed country has already had this debate and have come to the sensible conclusion of a gov't plan.
However not all gov't plans are equal. France and Germany have a better system than Canada. If the US is serious about health care, they should adopt that best of every gov't plan. However the industry is not likely to let this happen.
