    I'm bout to mount a rail on side of stock . I'v seen some bad reviews for the 597 but mine has been great . I just wish I could find more aftermarket parts

    Love mine had some prob. with cheaper ammo but I use AR tactical never have prob. Any more got great bipod from Wally World 25 bucks

    Dude, it’s a 10/22… you could have saved your money and shot at something close to zero it and saved you some cash… shoot at a target at 10-15 m and make your adjustments…

    I took mine back to Gander and they laser bore sited it for me. then I took it to the range. THEN I could zero it.

    Outstanding video and thank you very much. I just bought a used 597 for my buddies boy (never owned one myself) and this video gave me a great head start for showing him how to break it down.
