Here's bluegrass legends the Del McCoury Band live in Deville, Louisiana in May, 1991. Mr. Tad Marks played the fiddle and did vocals for them in those days...

You can check Tad's CD's out at CD Baby http://cdbaby.com/cd/tadmarks and the group he plays with now at http://bighillbillybluegrass.com/. They've traveled all over the globe as "America's de facto Bluegrass Ambassadors"...The Central Asian Times. You can also spot him (for about 5 seconds) in Chris Rocks' "Head of State" movie; with Jay-Z and DMX, they are on the soundtrack too ; -) .

He also plays quite a bit with Celtic performer Charlie Zahm.

The band is: Del McCoury-guitar, lead vocal; Ronnie McCoury-mandolin, vocals; Rob McCoury-banjo, guitar; Tad Marks-fiddle, vocals; Mike Brantley-bass, vocals. Bluegrass rocks!

  • Tad Marks is truly brilliant. Nobody has more fire in his bow!

  • No one sounds like Tad Marks on the fiddle, Del should hire him back.

  • Tad Plays better the the guy Jason Carter who plays fiddle with Del now!!!

  • Great fiddle-banjo tune, just like Earl & Paul Warren!
