I HAVE A QUESTION!!!!!!!!

did you cut holes in the bottles for the water to escape or was the air pressure so powerful that it broke the bottles??

If somebody knows the answer please reply because i was thinking of doing it for a project of mine

anglelic, the experiment was not done by me.I found this video from other website (can't remember which one).But the experiment was quite simple..Make a small hole at the bottom of the bottles and tape them back.Fully fill the the bottles with water. Make a small hole on top of the bottle's cap (just enough to fit the tube into it) and use yr chewing gum to cover any uncovered area on the bottle's cap..yes the air pressure did it..

@fangalaxy23 That's elemental carbon not tar, and what was proved in this video is that smoke can stick to plastic and run through it easily. The EXACT same thing would happen if I put grass and rolled it. Your lungs cleanse themselves, avoiding this. If you perform and autopsy on a smoker and non smoker their lungs will look the same as any other. Unless you work in a coal mine.
