For those of us who serve teenagers, there is a lot we're hearing these days. As they struggle with all that life throws at them, we struggle to know how to minister to them. We're shaping NYWC 2009 to be a place where you can have those conversations and develop strategies for the youth ministry problems you are experiencing today and for the years to come. @SmashTactics its ok we believe what we want to believe because it is true and we have faith and there is evidence such as healing , tongues( language of god and u only) and much more described in the bible Acts 11:14-17 im not here to debate but plant a seed dont take this the wrong way. god loves u and the bible says he will never leave us nor forsake us Especially in our time of need.

@SmashTactics we do have a need for a redeemer because if Jesus didn't die on the cross for us as his father had planed we would all go to hell and there would be no need for life but god loved us and still is so that's y he sent Jesus to die for us and not only that but show us a way of living :) Jesus love all and because Jesus was perfect and the son of god is y he had authority to cleanse us of our sins

@SmashTactics
Jesus is a Hebrew/Jewish/Israeli messiah, not a Greco-Roman Messiah.
In fact, Israel was still a territory at the time of Jesus birth and did not gain recognition as a province of the Roman empire until later in Jesus' lifetime.

Hope does not spring from lies. Christianity is 100% fraud from the pus bucket of bronze age ignorance.

Hey Smash...If there is nothing to the "story" of Jesus, and it's just a big hoax, why do you get so offended by it?

"Greco-Roman "Messiah"" The Greeks were either sophists or pantheonic, and had no messiahs, and the Romans were base moralists that adopted and altered the Greek pantheon. So aside from the lack of sound reasoning in your comments, you indicate a very lazy and uneducated counter-apologetic. Question: What is it in your psyche that leads you to post on a web page that is meant to bring hope to believers? Why are you not satisfied to allow hope to take root when and where it can?
