  • do a vid on making a decent handle for your hatchet. :) pine knots which can probably be found near the pine trees can be used too and knot have to F up some good trees. why would you use sap so much? it's smoke is very toxic and dirty you can cook with a hard wood fire.

  • @GozonTheGonsarian pine sap burns hotter than wood, and for doing delicate work ( making fish hooks ect..) a wood fire will not do, and the lamps and torches burn brightly, with a minimum of fuel use.

  • how long did that amount of pine sap on the torch last?

  • @jakeschievink about an hour and ten minutes

  • @revelacia thats why i demonstrated harvesting sap from damaged trees. however, in survival there is illegal law that says dont do it.... pleasure taping of trees isnt right but when the need is present do what you must.!!!

  • @mark01318 much like self defence, wnen the need is there, do it.

  • I've seen alot of "bushcraft" videos, but this is the first of your's that I've seen. I think this was one of the best.

    Thanks for the great info!

  • Does pine sap in its hardened form (or it's fresh form) take a spark well with a ferro rod?

  • Chewing gum... a truly important survival item...

  • As far as breaking any laws when trying to survive...It has been said that, "to be tried by a jury of 12 is better than being carried to your grave by 6." If I was stuck in a survival situation, there are no property laws to me, but survival of the fittest. If it is needed , use it. I would deal with the aftermath when I had reached safety. Thank you for making these videos! I have been wondering why you have not uploaded any for the past several months. Camera broken? Hope to see more soon.:-)

  • Talk about an informative video!
