  • This reminds me a little of Lee Holdridge's Elegy which, coincidentally, was also written in 1976.I'm not sure Holdridge would have known about Part........

  • This sublime music first came to my attention 8 years ago when I watched Gus Van Sant's film GERRY. Then again last week on the trailer for the movie SILENT HOUSE.

  • Comparing Leonard Cohen to this, is like comparing a 1971 Ford Cortina to a Benz SLS AMG Roadster- PUTZ

  • Finally found this, brilliant :)

  • A bit like Leonard Cohen on Ice.

  • at 2:18 a man's mind begins to suspect there is another way; at 4:24 a man's heart becomes bathed in the serene light that comes with choosing to do the right thing -- a man transcends his animal instincts of self-preservation and the selfless uphill charge begins; at 6:22 a man's body finds that keeping the ascending course becomes harder and easier at the same time, until at 07:06, when transcendence is complete, a man made anew obtains a bird's-eye view of the world and of life

  • Haunting...floating...otherworldly...the simplicity of this piece and its ability to transport you to another place is what makes it truly outstanding!

  • I wrote a poem to this just now. It's called This is it. I thought about the moment of dying and wrote about it. If anybody is interested in it I will send it to them only so they have something to connect with this masterpiece.

  • Wonderful
