This reminds me a little of Lee Holdridge's Elegy which, coincidentally, was also written in 1976.I'm not sure Holdridge would have known about Part........

This sublime music first came to my attention 8 years ago when I watched Gus Van Sant's film GERRY. Then again last week on the trailer for the movie SILENT HOUSE.

I wrote a poem to this just now. It's called This is it. I thought about the moment of dying and wrote about it. If anybody is interested in it I will send it to them only so they have something to connect with this masterpiece.
