Another weird song. Auto Da Fe was a band that Lynott was closely associated with during the mid 1980s as a producer and sometimes guest musician. The difference is that Auto Da Fe is soft rock (at best). This isn't really up my alley, but again, this is pretty hard to find and post-worthy. Lynott has a backup vocal in the song, and the song itself isn't THAT bad. Enjoy!

  • Am I the only one in the world with the original 5 singles and one smoked cod 12" EP / mini album on vinyl in immaculate condidtion ??? Bought in Ireland when released

  • You might be.

  • Its not live, Philip who produced it put a backing track on the end and put it out as a record for auto da fe to get more people to see them live !!You heard it here first

  • I shall change it then. I had a feeling it was wasn't, but that backing track seemed weird.

  • thanks thanks thanks for this rariety you are the best!!!

blacksabfan why dindn't change your name lizzyfan?

please tell me more about this recording.

  • If I knew more I would have posted it in the description. Someone else probably knows more about it than me. I just know it was live, it was in 1983, and it was with Auto De Fe.

I reckon Phil was talking and listening to a lot of new stuff, and was really thinking of changing direction with his music.
