P534ECJ Blind crest overtake

Yet another dumb overtake by a Subaru driver this time, on the completely blind crest of a railway bridge near to where I live. Good job there was nothing coming

A guy I work with was driving to work over this bridge the other week and a motorbike was over-taking a car in the opposite direction over the top of the bridge. The guy I work with had to take evasive action to avoid the motorbike and ended up scraping the left hand side of his car along the brickwork. Lost his wing mirror and now has a load of deep scratches and dents down the side of his car.

He didn't get any details of the motorbike because the bike was obviously long gone.

@GTAMADDOG Probably the same crazy bastard that overtook me in my "suicide biker" video. If he keeps those sort of manoeuvres up he'll be brown bread in a short time and I wont have an ounce of sympathy. Tell your mate to get a camera... ;-) Sucks about the wing mirror and scratches. :(

im a moped rider, whenever i see a cyclist i try not to go to close when overtaking, and im a learner only been riding for a month and im a better driver than the ones that have passed years ago, idiots on the roads these days. i get overtaken all the time on my 50 but if they get to close i beep is that the right thing to do?

@095Tman Beep, shake fist, swear at them.. All sound appropriate responses to me. :-D

Wear or attach a camera to your bike and you may be able to report some of the truly shocking stuff to the police / roadsafe.

That's a blind crest from your helmet camera, about 2m above the road. It's even more blind from their driver's seat, about 1m above the road.
