people overbook Marbury's talent because he did some stupid shit and posted it on the internet and nobody could take this guy seriously. but if you look at his career stats, he did more than ok. 19 ppg 7.6 apg throughout his 13 year career.
If he did have some post season success with the knicks, I think he would have been a HOFer.

@MrBullsTalk I'd give Rose the nod because he seems more focused than Marbury.He never has to worry about becoming "home sick" like Marbury did in Minnesota.Had Marbury stayed with KG in Minny, he had the chance to be the defining PG of his generation.Rose plays in his home town, on a good team.Imagine if Rose decided to leave the Bulls and go play for the Bucks?He'd average 26 a game and fade just like Marbury with the Nets.When it comes to pure talent, Marbury could go toe 2 toe with Rose imo

I keep telling people he was Derrick Rose before Derrick Rose.They're essentially the same player, but i think a young Marbury was the better overall prospect.He had better shooting mechanics, better court vision, more range on his jumpshot, and i think he used both hands a lil bit better than Rose.I know people are going to say rose got some serious ups, but i think Marbury could match him there, to.Marbury could fly when he wanted to.To bad he couldn't stay focused.
