fast is not everything. even though the music in this version has slowed down, it is because to express ballerinas' dance more beautiful and dreamlike.

no this the way it's actually supposed to be. Mariinsky doesnt make its dances easier.

yes very different choreography. the one i watched last night was done by a couple. and they showed a lot of flexibility sort of like cirque. they became the hit of the show!

Hmmm interesting by any chance are you from Vancouver, since I've watched the Nutcracker about a week ago and they similiar performance as you are describing.
