I was so surprised to see Adolphe Menjou (Little Miss Marker.etc.) and Donald Crisp (National Velvet,Lassie Come Home,etc) I had no idea that they were still working in 1960. A great supporting cast in all, something movies are sorely lacking in today.

@Phersephoie There were like two more books on Pollyanna I believe and she does fully recover btw. :)

the ending made me laugh and cry at the same time <3 this is proof that nomatter how small your part is in other peoples lives, its your attitude and GLADNESS of heart that is contageous and thats what matters:)

@Phersephoie There's actually a sequel to the book, I haven't read it...but it's about her coming back. From what I can recall, the book ends with a letter from Pollyanna to Polly, saying she has started to walk again...
