  • I think Sean Lock is criminally underrated, his quality of comedy and where he is just does not match. He wrote and starred in the funniest dark comedy ever and he never fails to be funny at any show he is invited on. The only reason why Sean Lock never leaves 8 out 10 cats cos the show would be shit without him. He should be on comedy par with Rowan Atkinson and Dylan Moran.

  • @MeMyselfAndEyez sean lock is fantastic, i bet you only started watching stewart lee since comedy vehicle and now dismiss anything else in a vain attempt to appear intelligent. and if you dont like sean lock i doubt you are very intelligent, or at least lacking any sense of humour, having only a sense of fashion as a weak substitute.

  • @123jataylor Wow, that was a Sean Lockian Full Frontal Internet Assault. Take it easy. I like both Sean Lock and Stewart Lee. I'm not a bad person. I promise.

  • @BaubleRob LOL let's not

  • i didnt even know sean lock was rated, never mind underrated.

  • this show is so beneath Lee its a bit depressing

  • @hahaha430 Sean Lock is very good - but Frankie Boyle is more funny and strangely has a smaller chip on his shoulder.

  • Let's argue about who is the best comedian. That would be amazing.

  • Anyone who assumes that Stewart Lee is more intelligent than Sean Lock just because he wears his intelligence like a badge of honour and pursues a line of comedy which relies on the audience knowing that he is intelligent, where as Sean Lock plays the clown and doesn't particularly need the audience to consider his intellect, needs to go back to school. Maybe try a different one. Or read some more books. Or think.

BTW, I really like them both.

  • @aNya1127

    Totally agree.

Sean Lock is brilliant in this context (and great in general) but I feel so sorry for Stewart Lee. He's far too classy for this type of program and he is not a sell-out by any means.

I think he's more likely to be calculating the difference between not saying anything at all and retaining his dignity versus undermining the whole program and coming across as sour to those who don't know good comedy when it f***s them in the face.

  • Fucking comedy snobs. I regularly see Simon Munnery Daniel Kitson Stewart Lee live, doesn't mean you can't enjoy light entertainment like this, Jimmy Carr is one of the hardest working, most educated in his field comedians in the country and Sean Lock was one of the founders of the era of alternative comedy that brought Lee etc. Do some research before you think something is below you you narcissistic arseholes.
