A group of Korean archeologists find a skeleton and identify it as Lee Jin-Seok. But Lee Jin-Seok is still alive and he is now an old man. It is his brother Jin-Tae who went missing in the Korean War. We travel from the present to 1950, when the Korean War started. Jin-Seok and Jin-Tae, Jin-Seok's brother, are young men who suddenly find themselves catapulted into a bloody world so different from their quiet, rural lives. As the war progresses, the war begins to poison Jin-Tae's mind. Jin-Seok is lost when he finds that he no longer knows who his brother is.

I know this is old now but my messages were going to the wrong email. I was just listing some good films in general, I know City Of God isn't European and the Indian film I mentioned is one of the few song and dance free ones. I know where you're coming from on the song and dance thing but I just skip through them if they're annoying. The fight between comunism and capitalism.

All people are the same, europeans, chines, koreans, japanese .... just sometimes of some reasons they can be pulled to change their mind, want they this or no... life is complicated

@Phuzion1 City of God is not European it's Brazillian. Indian films tend to be rubbish . Full of singing and dancing and bad remakes of Korean, Japanese and American films.

every movie about the forgotten war is a gift to us.

i am very interested in history and have just finished my school and did my exams. well. and its the truth that in 13 years of school, the korean war was just mentioned twice. when it began and when it ended. its a shame.
